The affect of energy on our planet
A lot of energy is needed to produce anything we use. It is safe to say that the energy industry is the biggest pollinator in the world
The main reason for this is the use of fossil fuels
According to this graph 81% of global energy sources is fossil origin

Fossil fuels
Energy is mainly generated by 3 kinds of fossil fuels – oil, coal and gas.
Gas is the most eco friendly because it produces the least amount of pollution
Coal production is the dirtiest because of the way coal obtained. Digging produces lots of small particles and rock waste which pollutes air and nearby waters. Having said that, coal produces a lot dangerous emissions such as sulfur oxide which leads to acid rainfalls.
