Vegetarianism is the practice of a diet that excludes [izslēdz] all meat.

The reasons for choosing vegetarianism may be related [saistīts] to religion, culture, ethics, environment, society, economy, politics, taste, or health.

There are many variants of vegetarianism, for example-
lacto vegetarianism - no meat and no eggs
Ovo-vegetarianism – no meat and lacto products (from milk)
Vegans – no milk, no meat no eggs (the real vegetarians)
Futurism – just fruits and vegetables, which are gathered without harming the plant. (For example no crops, because they have been cut down)
All variant of vegetarian systems if they use well-balanced diets provide health improvements and spirit purity[tīrība].
