Infertility and Egg Donation

One the side about an embryo being a human being with rights as soon as it is fertilized I am not exactly sure. Personally, I would think that the embryo becomes an actual human being after the heart begins to beat. I also support the debate about embryos that could possibly be used for scientific research. There are many diseases and sicknesses that come through genetics. If science can transplant a human egg into another woman, then obviously someday, with continued research, people can find cures for genetic problems. I think that unused embryos should be used for research, and help for future humans.
In conclusion, there are debates around the world. Not only about egg donation, but also about stem cell research, cloning, abortion, and everything else, even including gays and lesbians when it comes to reproductive means. The church does have a huge opinion in most of these arenas, and scientists have a totally different one. Whether or not you support egg donation or not, it is happening continuously all over the world. Reproductive technology is going nowhere but up, and so are the prices. Who knows what will become of egg donation, either becoming illegal, or totally accepted. I guess we will find out here in another decade or so.
