To support these solutions, let's have a look at statistics. At the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000 there were 9 doping cases. This year in Athens it was quite more. There were together 28 doping scandals (SITA, 2004). According to the statistics made by Wada (Statistics, 2003, p. 1), there were 2,447 positive doping findings out of 151,210 analyzed samples. A year before it was under 1,800 findings out of 150,000. It's an increase of more than 30 %. It doesn't mean that doping is on the increasing way. It means that thank the Code more sportspeople were caught by cheating, because of more often and unawares controls. People in IOC and Wada calculate that, if it continues on this way, after few years sportsmen and sportswomen will start to fear of being caught.
