Anorexia

Anorexia is also known as anorexia nervosa, in Latin meaning "nervous want of appetite. Anorexia is a serious illness that effects every one out of one hundred U.S. woman. It is a psychological problem that has many physical effects, including death. I found this topic to be very interesting, since it affects a great amount of people, including a friend of mine. I think it is an illness that can be easily overlooked if others aren't aware of the symptoms or of the seriousness of anorexia.
By doing this project, I hope to learn more about this illness, as well as the causes and effects in-depth, and treatment options. How would I know if a friend of mine suffered from anorexia? How may I help?
