Environmental Problems of My Area

The aim of this report is to describe the environmental problems in my district – Purvciems.
Water Pollution.
From face – to – face interviews I have known that the majority of people who live in our area are not truly satisfied with the quality of water. Water is piped from Lake Ķīšezers for needs of inhabitants of our district. It is filtered, but many consider this not to be enough. It has been claimed that people have to buy bottled water for drinking or install more filters for water.
Air Pollution.
On the whole, the air in Purvciems is quite clean…
