Good afternoon, dear audience, today I’m here to tell you something more about one of the world’s greatest National parks
Yellowstone National Park
It is located in North America, to be more precise the park lies in three states: Wyoming (vai’euming), Montana and Idaho.
All in all the are of the park is 8,987 km2 big. (Square kilometre)
Yellowstone was the first national park in the world and here you can see a man who was responsible for that - American geologist Ferdinand V. Hayden. He convinced Congress to make Yellowstone a National Park and so in 1872 the park was established.
The park is located at the headwaters of the Yellowstone River, from which it takes its historical name.
and it is commonly believed that the river was named for the yellow rocks seen in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
So, why Yellowstone National Park is so special?…
