THE Types of volcanoes
There are three types of volcanoes shield, cinder cones and composite volcanoes. Shield volcanoes are large volcanic
Forms with that are broad at the top and have low, sloping sides. This type of volcano is caused by slow, basaltic lava flows.
Cinder cones are cone shaped volcanoes some are no more than a few meters and others get as big as high as 610 meters sometime more. Most of the tallest volcanoes are composite volcanoes. These form from quiet eruptions of fluid lava followed by explosive eruptions of viscous lava.
