Conclusion
In my opinion, the campaigns were ineffective. The reason is as below:
Above all, Maxis currently did a lot of advertising and promotion in order to maintain the old customer and gain the market share. However it seems like still not so successfully in their operations. The competitors of Maxis, such as DIGI, CELCOM, they already used the similar promotional campaigns in the past, and also they are always using low price to maintain the regular customer and attract new customers.
Even though Maxis took the role of the "hip" people's daily lives, but its ad seems more like only by using an informative advertisement which introduced a fun, attractive, football famous star card collection for featuring a message with an "attitude", targeted a younger class of consumers - football funs. It is already narrow down the group of target audiences.
