Not a Bit Surprised

My strong response to this article has been heightened by my own personal struggles with the great need for amendment that plagues the Indian act; in particular, bill C-31 which has prevented me from being recognized as a
"Status Indian" despite the fact that my Grandmother, father and his siblings are "status natives". It is past due time for some badly needed changes. The government needs to get away from the "public choice approach" to politics and make good on promises that have been stagnant for far too long.
