As you can see from the different rights listed above about the only right that might be infringed upon is the one of contractual rights. The main reason for the infraction of this right is because all military members are subject to lawful orders and most of the time a military member will be given an opportunity to cease an unprofessional relationship. If the military member refuses to dissolve the relationship then they are subject to prosecution under the UCMJ for violating the order.
Personally I think that it is in the best interest of the Air Force that this rule is enforced. I know it would be very upsetting to me if I knew that a co-worker was getting special treatment in their career because they were dating a member of our organizational chain of command. Besides if people are concerned with this type of relationship it makes completing the mission much harder.
