Conclusion
Our capital punishment system is broken, concerned more with expediency than justice and with appearing tough, far more than effective. Our society as a whole needs to deal with our racial bias's and stereotypes of people from different ethnical backgrounds. We do as individual have racial stereotypes wither we want to believe it or not. From the charts in the previous section of this paper, you will see that in North Carolina alone that over 57.54% of the men that are on death row are of African-American descend. You can also see that non European-Americans do not believe that race plays a part in who is sentenced to death. Being at the United States in known as the "melting pot", of the world, we need to looking into ways of working on underlying stereotypes and prejudices, to that we can have somewhat of a better judicial system.
