The U.S government consists of three branches which are the following, the Legislative Branch, the Executive Branch, and the Judicial Branch. These branches were created because the framers of the constitution or also known as the founding fathers; wanted to form a government that did not allow any one person to have too much authority or control. They did this because previously while under the rule of the British king they learned that this could be a bad system. They also knew that they needed a strong centralized government.
