Touch - There have been a few studies into touch, mainly the electromagnetic response of the brain after an electric shock. These cause spikes which allow the brain to work at a much greater efficiency for a greater amount of time. Pick up a book on psychiatry or electric shock therapy to learn more about this. Greater brain activity is needed for people with paralyzed limbs or ligaments and electric shock therapy is sometimes used to help the patient to achieve this. Once again, not exactly something you can use for an exam but worth knowing anyway.
