Welfare

There's an old joke that goes something like, "Where do you hide a welfare recipient's check, where he'll never find it? Under his work boots." This joke recapitulates the concept of this essay, which is: should welfare be changed into workfare considering the fact that there are many who take advantage of the welfare system? I believe welfare should be changed to workfare because it possesses many benefits.
