In some ways different countries can be very much alike. They can have similar structure, political system, education system, industries and even climate. Although United Kingdom and Latvia may be similar in some ways, they have a great many differences that make each country unique and interesting in its own way.
The most important part of a country is definitely its inhabitants. People form a cultural and social community that share a common identity, and usually a common origin, in the sense of ancestry, parentage or descent. According to the latest population figures1, the United Kingdom’s population is 60.7 million - the third largest in the European Union (behind Germany and metropolitan France) and the 21st2 largest in the world. Its overall population density - measurement of population per square kilometre – is one of the highest in the world – 246 people / km2. Whereas, the population of Latvia is 2.25 million; it is the 22st largest in the European Union and the 140st largest in the world with population density 35 people / km2. …
