Tempus is one of a number of European Community programmes designed to promote social and economic reform, development of human resources and enhance the mutual understanding between peoples and cultures by working together in Partner Countries.
The Tempus programme was established in Russia in 1994.
EU Study Weeks and EU Study Weekends provide an opportunity for Russian students of international relations, history, law, economics and related subjects to get first-hand information about the European Union directly from EU officials, as well as from European and Russian experts.
