The investigated indexes has proved that during taken period Germany has reached sustainable economic growth, in its turn Japan suffers dramatic increase of unemployment despite of positive economic factors. The results of performed investigation show that during taken period tendency of economic globalization in Germany is more positive, than the one in Japan, where it is partly negative. However the author is convinced that making general conclusions about globalization grounded on acquired results is impossible. The report addresses only one part of economic issues, when many other factors influencing globalization have not been overviewed due to limitations of this report. At this point we have to remember, that globalization expresses not only in change of economic aspects, but in many other directions. Globalization involves also international knowledge sharing, acquiring best practices from other countries and integration thereof in domestic affairs. International expansion of companies creates competition in other countries, thus making domestic industries work harder to keep their market segment. On the other hand, this fact increase imports of goods and services and probably crowd out domestic companies. Globalization has advantages and disadvantages which are difficult to put in statistics or evaluate otherwise.
