If I ever had three wishes that I could make to change my parents, I would never use them. The perfect parents are the ones I have now. Although there is no such thing as a perfect parent, there is such a thing as a good one. Maybe no one is perfect, though many of us wish we were! They understand me and know that at times it's best to let me decide what's right or wrong for me. They talk to me and they don't get mad at the things I say. They treat me most of the time as an adult. To be honest with you, I wouldn't want a parent that bought me everything I wanted, and did anything I wanted. There is such a thing as "too much of a good thing." Our parents have to raise us in a caring, loving, and supportive environment, but in a way, they have to be strict to set us all in line. …
