Lowering her hood tells Rikki that she is ready to make peace and not cause any more havoc. However, this is just a ploy to get her eggs back. She does not want to befriend Rikki. In summary, Nagaina applies logical thinking in trying to get what she wants.
In conclusion, Rikki, Darzee's wife, and Nagaina use logical thinking to fulfil their goals. First Rikki saves Teddy and his family due to logical thinking. Furthermore, Darzee's wife deceives Nagaina. Lastly, in order to save her precious eggs and kill Rikki's friends, Nagaina utilizes sagacious thinking. Consequently, the animals think rationally to achieve their purpose.
