This is an adventure story about young boy, who involved in one adventure after another, often bringing heartache to his Aunt Polly. Once she decides to take action and punish him. Tom’s punishment is to whitewash the fence. He very cleverly tricks his friends into doing the work for him while he does nothing.
Tom’s best friend is Huckleberry Finn. Together, they witness the murder of Dr. Robinson in the graveyard, where they had gone for a midnight adventure. They see that the murderer is Injun Joe, but they don’t report it to the Sheriff because they fear that if Injun Joe heard about it, he will take revenge on them.…
