The Man, The Myth, The Icon.. Just the few words to describe The Legend. Born in a jail cell, no one knew what great expectations and influence this incredible man would have on the blacks. Mr. Kean and fellow students, Tupac Amaru Shakur deserves to be heard, and I'm here to tell my side of the story.
Shakur was born in Brooklyn, NY 1971. While still a small child, his mother changed his name to Tupac Amaru after an Inca Indian revolutionary, "Tupac Amaru", meaning "Shining Serpent". "Shakur" meaning "Thankful To God" in Arabic.
