"We have art to save ourselves from the truth." Poetry is an art that allows the left part of the brain to work. Poetry is an art that requires one to think in order to appreciate its beauty. Poetry is not simply anything which a poet writes to make money, however, it is a way to release tension and express one's thoughts in a beautiful manner. There are many great poets who have come up with splendid poems that hold a great amount of beauty. One such poet is John Keats. Keats is the Romantic poet of lush, and physical imagery. He uses rich language, often to create the ambiance of the poem. Keats approaches the mystery of life and of death with a passion and confidence. Keats was ill and eventually died to Tuberculosis. This might have affected the way he wrote since he was expressing his deep sad emotional feelings. Keats wrote many poems which became famous. Ode to a Nightingale was one of his last poems before he died. In this poem, themes of death, mortality, immortality, and the realities of life are reiterated.…
