Over a year has past now and I feel better now than I've every felt before. I am and will be forever grateful to the doctor that not only saved my dad's life twice, but saved mine twice as well. With so many questions that concerned how much longer I would live or if I would even live, I began to think about what it would be like if I died. All the special memories I shared with so many people, loved ones I cared so deeply for, and everything that was special in my life could in that instant have been taken away. I can honestly say I don't know what I would have done if the doctor would have told me I only had a certain amount of time to live. No longer wanting to let the small things that matter the most just be pushed to the side or just merely be overlooked, I live everyday as if it were my last. People never know when it's their time to go or how much longer they have to share memories as well as make them. I hope that somehow people can understand that life is something too short to waste and more precious than we realize. I just hope it doesn't a situation like the one I was in to help them see it.…
