Indecisiveness
In the novel, Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton, we are introduced to characters whom are indecisive. The dilemmas these people face cause them to make rash, and even painful decisions. People in general want to be happy, yet they have a hard time, just like the characters, in making the choice to change their future.
If one must make his or her own choices, then the choices they make must influence the things they do. Many things influence the decisions we make, and the decisions we make, in turn, carry consequences of their own. …
