Džordžs Vašingtons pavisam noteikti ir ļoti ievērojama persona Pasaules vēsturē. Viņš bija pirmais ASV prezidents un tiek vērtēts kā viens no visu laiku labākajiem ASV prezidentiem. Viņš bija viens no cilvēkiem, kas panāca Jaunās pasaules koloniju neatkarību. Tieši viņš ieteica trīskāršu varas sadalījumu starp izpildvaru (prezidents), likumdošanu (kongress) un tiesu varu. Džordžs Vašingtons ir kluvis par ASV un republikānisma simbolu.
Vašingtons ir dzimis 1732. gada 22. februārī Virdžīnijas kolonijā, bet miris 1799. gada 14. decembrī, arī Virdžīnijā, taču šoreiz jau ASV teritorijā. …
