The modern human being is not ready to be sexually-neutral “task-combiner” in the new-look welfare state because there are still “labyrinths of care” as Selma Sevenhuijsen has very successfully titled. Unfortunately, her paper lacks some crucial historical developments and she has narrow understanding of term “care” but feminist has excellently touched new social risks in contemporary time such as parental issues, health care etc.
