This, this, 'policy', was active in the South African government for 50 years. Apartheid, the Afrikaans word for "apartness" was the 'policy' used in South Africa from the years 1948 to 1994. During these years the nearly 31.5 million blacks in South Africa were treated cruelly and without respect. This 'policy', has caused riots and school closings. This 'policy', has caused boycotts and bans. This 'policy', has caused countless deaths and injuries. There are many viewpoints on this 'policy' and its future. There are many against it, but also many supporting it. This has caused feelings that are being mixed around in a cauldron. The feelings about the situation in South Africa will be revealed.
