Culture Is not a Luxury but a Necessity. Culture and Survival of the Species

All of this, all our history has lead us to the point, where we are our own biggest threat. Where one person in power can destroy us if he puts his interests above the rest of the world.
And because of that it is now more important for humankind to develop and evaluate their morals, laws, ethics and politics, for our humanity to exceed our technology, that could be focused on different causes. It is, of course, easier said than done, when those that preach goodness quite often disregard it behind closed doors and ultimately the outcome will be determined by human nature, culture is only a tool that helps and shapes it. And in a way our culture has brought us closer to both immortality and destruction than ever before.
