Our way of thinking and making the fantasy will be changed by the methology of thing of 'real world'. The reality acts like the stepstones in building up the fantasy. In another words, the archetypes formed by the influences of the real world breeds our fantasy. It restructures and integrates the fantasy. In this light, we could see that fantasy and reality are like a two-way-road, interacting. It is our true-life experiences, which enables us to interpret the fairy tale. As for Edward, he always thought himself as an extraordinary kind of fish called the Beast, which cannot be caught. In his version, his life started in a legendary way. The structure is similar to the mythological heroic characters, they all have an unusual birth. Every time he made up his legendary story we could see traces, which influenced by the general western archetypes of the fantasy world. For example, the witch who got a glass eye which could see the way people die. The circus ringleader whom is a wolf man. The giant, the mermaid, these are all common characters which are representations of Western fantasy world.…
