Through-out the movie, the protagonists and antagonists believe in different values and present them through there character roles. Characterisation is the key to success in a film and without it no values would be present. The characters have the power to convince the audience of a particular value and then are able to discourage us also. Andy and Red are important and vital characters in the movie with their commendable values which link to our own values we believe in, in our society. Characters such as the Warden are able to challenge our values and dare to test what we concede as right. Without Characterisation films would be unsuccessful and without the common values and beliefs we share with the characters it would fail. The construction of characters is the main link in making a film successful and making it successful fiction.…
