Adam and Eve fell from God’s grace. One of the results of their fall was that Cain murdered his brother Abel, and people haven’t stopped killing each other since. The Old Testament teaches us: “Resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Surrender, in a word. As a contrargument can be the respond from the New Testament – as a proof that the world and its standards have been developing steadily since – “You shall show no mercy: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth…” Is it fair that the innocent people must suffer only because the politics is built up on the inevitable processes, one of which is war… Where are the aspects and arguments about lost money and wasted budget then?…
