The Hound of the Baskervilles is written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, best known as the creator of the Sherlock Holmes and his side-kick Dr Watson. His stories with wonderful senses of late Victorian England are still being read all over the world. The Hound of the Baskervilles is a detective novel and first published in 1902 is one of the most popular and intriguing cases of Sherlock Holmes.

The Hound of the Baskervilles opens in London in 1884 with a mini mystery. Sherlock Holmes speculates on the identity of the owner of a silver cane that has been left in their office by unknown visitor which turns out by name of James Mortimer so entering into the case of the Baskervilles.…
