Vegetation types.
There are five major types of vegetation – forest vegetation, woodlands, grasslands, deserts and shrub biomes.
Plants evolve to suit climate and the environment.
In warm and humid conditions there is diverse plant and animal life.
In arid and hot conditions less vegetation can adapt to the environment.

Vegetation patterns.
About 50% of the world’s original vegetation are forests.
Simular biomes can occur in different parts of the world.
This happends because of climate zones.
Vegetation patterns reflect the ecological and evolutionary selection of plants and animals.
