Teachers play an important role in student success because education is not simply the transfer of information from a textbook to a learner. A student can have access to books, websites, videos, artificial intelligence tools, and online courses, yet still need someone who can organise knowledge, explain difficult ideas, notice misunderstandings, give feedback, create motivation, and show what improvement looks like.
