Was built by the Duke of Buckingham in 1708. 54 years later, King George III bought it. In 1837 Queen Victoria made it home of her court. It stands at the end of the boulevard called The Mall. It has:
600 rooms(on 3 floors),
400 staff,
300 clocks,
its own post office, cinema and swimming pool,
a nuclear shelter,
16 hectares of gardens(including lake with pink flamingos),
a picture gallery.

There’s also a balcony at the front of the Palace. This faces The Mall and it’s where the Royal Family appear:
After the Trooping the Colour ceremony,
After royal weddings, anniversaries.
