The Rules of Surfing
Rule 1: Right of way. You can’t catch a wave when someone paddles next to you on your left.
Rule 2: Don’t drop in. Two surfers can't ride the same wave in the same direction.
Rule 3: Paddling Rules. When you paddle out to the line up, make sure you don't disturb others if you don't want to be hit by another surfer.
Rule 4: Don’t ditch your board, because it can hit anyone that’s close to you.
