The stage of adolescence is very difficult both for the teenager himself and for his parents. It is important to keep healthy relationship between these two sides. Privacy, communication, and obligations are some of values which should be improved to achieve better relationship.
First of all, privacy from both sides should be observed. Parents should let their kids have their personal space and friends. Many parents ignore this need by trying to control every step of their kid. Occasionally teenagers also do not understand that parents want to have privacy too. From my point of view privacy is closely related to trust and there can not be good relationship without trust.
