In conclusion, many often have the misconception that the field of chemistry is overrun with equations and numbers. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. Even in a titration, which involves many calculations and quantitative values, the end of the experiment is marked by a color change, a qualitative observation. This experiment further proves that qualitative observations are extremely important in the process of determining any unknown and in the field of chemistry as a whole.
