New Horizons New Frontiers
Finally, the last part of my speech is about opportunities in the future. If we compare the chances my parents had and what I have we can see that connections between countries have developed and I think that we will have more and more chances to go abroad and learn in other countries. I suppose that in the future there be even more cross-boarder projects and teenagers will participate in them more active than now. From our school mostly girls join such projects so I hope that in the future boys will show more interest about them.
All in all, I think that everything in the world is developing and people are very lazy so they probably will find a way how to make travel or get education and do whatever they like to do abroad even more easier than now.…
Hello, ladies and gentleman, today I would like to talk about travelling and education opportunities in different times. I’ve divided my speech into three parts. In the first part I’ll talk about past, then about present and finally about opportunities in the future. I’ll be happy to answer your questions after my speech. Now let’s move to the first part of my speech. In this part I will talk about the chances of travelling and studying abroad in the past, when my parents were students. When they learned in school no one offered them to travel. They didn’t go to excursions as we do now. Only very special chosen persons went abroad and others didn’t even think about. They didn’t also talk about studying in other countries. My parents said that they haven’t heard that any of their schoolmates of friends had the opportunity to learn abroad. Let’s move to the next part of my talk. Completely opposite to the way things happened when my parents were teenagers nowadays we have sooo many chances to go somewhere. We just have to use them. Now it’s very easy to go to some country because we have many travel agencies which have made interesting routes around the countries. It got easier when Latvia joined the European Union. Joining EU opened new frontiers for us and made travelling even more easily it was. Latvia is in Schengen area as well. It helps us to cross borders faster, because they don’t check passports on the boarder points
