The Earth. The Sea. The Underworld. The Sky. The People. The Stones. The Memories. All these are the catchwords when I think about Latvia. From joy and from sorrow this land with the tender name Latvia has been created.
Latvia is located in the North Europe. Latvia is a small country. Four mighty rivers trace like branches of age – old trees across the country and divide the map of Latvia into four parts. Each of these rivers boasts of its own fate, character and nature. These rivers are the Gauja, the Daugava, the Lielupe, and the Venta. Latvia in the eastern part is very hilly.
