3.1. Virgin Vehicles
Virgin Galactic’s human spaceflight system consists of two vehicle types: WhiteKnightTwo and SpaceShipTwo. The first of each vehicle type was built by Scaled Composites, and all future vehicles in their spaceline fleet will be built by their sister company – “The Spaceship Company”. WhiteKnightTwo is a carrying plane which carries SpaceShipTwo shuttle and then it releases the shuttle. The plane is landed at an airport but the shuttle is going further into suborbital space.

3.2. Astronaut training
Each astronaut will take part in three days of pre-flight preparation, bonding and training onsite at “Spaceport America” – the world’s first commercial spaceport. Learning how to make the most out of the time spent in zero-gravity as well as pre-flight preparation that will ensure that each astronaut is mentally and physically prepared to savour every second of the spaceflight.
