I wanted to tell you a few parenting tips, but so that I am only a kid and actually don’t have any children yet I decided to gather some respectable opinions from the World Wide Web.

Recently I read an article at gamerdad.com by Colleen Hannon where she stated that “parents are horrible creatures to a teenager. We're never with it, we are too dumb to understand what's really going on, and they've developed a healthy distrust of some of the things we say after losing a few illusions along these first steps in their life. Even with the best intentions and a decent relationship sometimes it's just a hard slog. The worst thing, though, is that what we do is always really embarrassing. Some days, it seems like you can't even breathe in their presence with those oh-so-eloquent eyerolls.”
Well, some may think that’s pretty much it – but I think the author is a bit overstating…
