PĀRAPDROŠINĀŠANA
Tā ir daļas no riska nodošana pārapdrošinātājam (lai to mazinātu). Lai nodrošinātu procesu, tiek slēgts līgums, kurā ir norādīts, ka pārapdrošinātājs piekrīt segt daļu no apdrošinātāja atlīdzībām par attiecīgu samaksu (prēmiju). Pārdalot risku (veicot pārapdrošināšanu) apdrošināšanas sabiedrības var slēgt vairāk apdrošināšanas līgumu ar palielinātiem limitiem un par lielākam apdrošināšanas summām.
