What is that?
Freestyle Motocross (also known as FMX) is a variation on the sport of motocross in which motorcycle riders attempt to impress judges with jumps and stunts.
Free Style Motocross which is also popularly referred to as FMX, involves motorcycle riders making several attempts to impress the judges and out win each other with stunts and jumps. The main types are Big air and Free style motocross; which is the older of the two. In Big air, the rider makes three jumps that cover more than 60 feet from a ramp that is covered with dirt. A set of ten judges critically access the trick, style, use of course and give a score based on a 100 points. The rider with the highest score wins the competition.
Free Style involves multiple jumps of several angles and lengths that last between 90 seconds and fourteen minutes. Successful free riders have to make effective use of good combination of skills and strong mental ability. Important free style events include the X-Games, Night of the Jump, Gravity games, Big X and a whole lot more.
