The area of Latvia is 64 589 square kilometres. Latvia is located in temperate zone.
The capital of our country is Riga. Riga is the largest city of Latvia and it was founded in 1201. Latvia become independent in 1918. Latvia is situated by the side of Baltic Sea. There are some islands in the Riga’s gulf. The biggest island in Riga’s gulf is Daugavgrīvas island. The area of this island is 13 square kilometres.
There are very good deal of fishes in the Baltic Sea. There are dorses, salmons, flounders, Baltic pilchards, sprats and another kind of fishes. …
