The final aspect of “A walk to remember” is its value. I learned a lot from this book, it taught me to enjoy every single moment in my life because we never know what’s going to happen in the future. It taught me to have faith in me and in others. It also made me to see things differently.
I definitely recommend this book to others. It is very easy to read, it makes you think and it also leaves you wondering what really happened in the end. It’s also interesting that this book is based on real events. For Nicholas Sparks, it was his favorite. He says: “I can say however, that “A walk to Remember” was my favorite novel to write. I enjoyed the process of capturing the voice of a smart-alecky 17-year-old kid. Likewise with Jamie Sullivan. There was something intrinsically sweet about her character that gradually seemed to take over the book. It was also the only novel that made me cry while writing.” ; “In some ways, the story seemed almost inspired, and I not only enjoyed the writing process, but sometimes I was even surprised by the turns the story took.”
