Authors conclude with a statement that we are social beings and our relationships define us. In order to succeed and be better at what we are doing, we must learn to maximize our EQ skills. And this book is showing how to exactly do it.
I found this book and chapter interesting, because we never truly understand what we have inside us and how that can help to improve our life. As a communication student it is very important for me to know the right ways how to speak, how to act and even how to think. This chapter made me think about a lot of things I have done and the reasons why. Mostly it is because of the emotions, but, as the authors tried to point out, emotions shouldn’t be in the charge of our actions. It is our power, to decide, when the right time to act is.
