Many researches have shown that if Barbie was alive, she would need to walk on all fours to support her proportions. It is said that she would be approximately 2 meters high with a waistline of 45 cm and a breast size of 100 cm. These numbers may seem doubtful, since academics and critics still does not have a common opinion on this topic, however there is one belief many of them are unanimous in – Barbie poses a serious threat to girls’ physical and emotional development. Barbie is not only blamed for playing a role in development of body-image problems and eating disorders, but also for cultivating and ideal of materialism, beauty and sexuality as an equivalent of happiness.…
