One of the best films that I have ever seen and always stays on my mind is a catastrophic drama The Day After Tomorrow. It was directed by Roland Emmerich, who also has directed such blockbusters as Godzilla and Independence Day. It is set in the 21st century in different cities and places, such as Antarctic Continent, New York City, Tokyo, Delhi and Los Angeles. It stars Jake Gylenhall and Denis Quaid.
The main plot is about global warming and its consequences. One day, a climatologist Jack Hall and his workmates work in Antarctic Continent, where they are taking samples from old ice to find out some information about world’s history. …
